Great location, with the old town and the magnificent castle just a short walk away. The hotel was clean and well-fitted out, and the staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet was rich and delicious, offering a wide variety of options.
The bed was on wheels, which made it a bit irritating as it moved around. It would have been nice to have English TV channels for some relaxation time after a long day of exploring.

The position of the hotel right in the centre of town is great. Within easy walking distance of the Schloss and lakes. Right oppostie the hotel is a great breakfast place offering a good range of croissants etc and coffee. You can eat for 6€ instead of 13 in the hotel.
Parking is not 'on site' but round the block in a public park haus, however it is fairly cheap at 5€ per 24 hours.

The location was excellent. a quiet corner, but very close to the centre of the town. The desk staff were friendly and efficient. The room was functional, but large enough and had almost everything we needed. We were given a kettle to make tea/coffee when we asked. Good value all round.
The entrance was slightly off putting when we first arrived. Horrid plastic flowerrs. The room had no little safe for valuables. Also no air-conditioning, but this wasn't a problem.

I recently stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and I must say, it was a steal for the price! The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the city center. It was so easy to explore the old town areas and visit the breathtaking Schwerin Schloss. The convenience alone made my trip memorable. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The rooms were clean and spacious, and I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and powerful shower. The attention to detail was evident, with little touches like tea/coffee provided and even a Haribo treat and postcard waiting for me on the bed. It's the little things like that which make a hotel stand out. this hotel provided excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Nothing to fault, everything was ok.

Hotel located in the town centre and only 5 min walk to castle. Staff helpful and attendative.
The bed is not fixed to the wall/headboard and slides away from the wall if one sits upright resting against headboard. Room was on the small side and the wardrobe was too close to the footend of the bed making moving around the bed difficult.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a charming town known for its famous castle. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town. I was able to easily explore the shops, restaurants, and attractions, including the castle, museum.
Everything was perfect, nothing could have been improved.

Central location. Friendly staff. Spacious, clean room. Comfy bed. Powerful shower. Lovely terrace. Free luggage storage. Nice touch with Haribo and postcard.
Hard to think of anything.

This hotel in the heart of the city really impressed me. First of all, the value for money was excellent, especially considering the central location. The attention to detail in the rooms was noticeable, with new and fresh interiors. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the fact that they offered the option to pay for parking in the nearby car park. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a good selection and well-maintained trays.
There was one minor inconvenience during my stay, but overall, everything was satisfying.

Great value for money! The room was clean, spacious, and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the town, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The terrace was a lovely addition, and I appreciated being able to store my luggage after check out. Plus, the Haribo and postcard on the bed were a nice touch!
Breakfast choices could be improved, but the staff could help by contacting nearby restaurants to check availability.

The hotel was situated in a great location, next to a world-renowned tourist spot, a church that visitors could climb to the top of for stunning views, and just around the corner from a famous castle. The beds were comfortable, the staff spoke English, the Wi-Fi worked well, and they even provided a secure bag storage for visitors after checkout.
The noise level outside the hotel was high, due to the noise from the cars passing by and the surrounding residential areas.

Spent Christmas at a hotel in a beautiful town. The location was great, close to all the attractions and shops. We also enjoyed the free Wi-Fi and the coffee maker in the room. One of the best things was that we had a view of the lake from our room.
The staff were not very helpful and seemed overworked. The room was outdated and not very cozy.

Excellent location in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the famous castle. The room was clean and quiet, with helpful staff and a lovely terrace. Transportation was convenient and easy to access.
Nothing that I didn't like.

The hotel had friendly staff who were very helpful. The breakfast offered a generous and varied spread, with gluten-free options, which was appreciated. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city near all the major tourist attractions. The rooftop view was picturesque and a great spot to relax and enjoy the sunset.
The room was a bit smaller than expected, and the noise level made it hard to get a good night's sleep. The curtains also didn't block out much light, which made it hard to sleep in.

Convenient location, beautiful city, easily accessible on foot. Room was small but sufficient, with helpful English-speaking staff. Despite being on the street level, noise was not a major issue. However, Sundays in Germany can be quiet due to most shops being closed. I would recommend Boulevard Hotel Altstadt for its location and convenience.
